When You use the Keerti application, We collect various categories of personal and insurance-related information in order to process and manage Your insurance policies. The data We collect includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Policy Holder Information

When You fill out an Insurance Form, We collect the following details about the primary policy holder:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Aadhaar Card Number – a government-issued identity document number
  • Date of Birth (Optional) and Age
  • Gender (Male / Female / Other)
  • Full Address – including Street Address, State, District, City, and Pincode
  • Profile Photo – uploaded or selected by You within the Application

2. Insurance Details

We collect information about the insurance policy You wish to avail, including:

  • Insurance Type – Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, or Health Insurance
  • Insurance Amount – the sum assured or coverage amount in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Insurance Duration – the policy term in years

3. Insurance Agent Details

We collect information about the insurance agent associated with Your policy:

  • Agent Name
  • Agent Code – a unique identifier assigned to the agent
  • Agent Mobile Number
  • Agent Email Address
  • Agent Branch Name
  • Agent Address

4. Insurance Company Details

We collect details about the insurance company associated with Your policy:

  • Insurance Company Name
  • Company Branch
  • Customer Care Number
  • Company Website

5. Nominee Information

We collect details about the individual nominated to receive benefits under Your policy:

  • Nominee Name
  • Nominee Relation – the nominee's relationship to the policy holder (e.g., Brother, Spouse, Parent)
  • Nominee Mobile Number
  • Nominee Date of Birth (Optional)
  • Nominee Full Address – including State, District, City, and Pincode
Note on Sensitive Data: Certain information We collect — such as Aadhaar Card Number, Date of Birth, and financial details like Insurance Amount — is considered sensitive personal data under applicable Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We treat this data with the highest level of care and security.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal and insurance-related information collected through the Application for the following purposes:

  • To process and manage Your insurance policy applications
  • To verify Your identity using government-issued identification such as Aadhaar
  • To facilitate communication between You, the insurance agent, and the insurance company
  • To generate and maintain digital insurance records and policy documents
  • To contact You regarding updates, renewals, or changes to Your insurance policy
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Indian law
  • To improve and optimize the functionality of Our Application

Sharing of Your Information

  • With Insurance Agents: Agent details and policy holder information may be shared with the respective insurance agent to facilitate Your policy processing.

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist Us in operating the Application, subject to confidentiality obligations.
